Building a Foundation for Faith, Family and Academics

Our mission is to provide the children of Saint Zachary School with a Catholic Christian foundation along with a quality educational program to address the development of the physical, moral and intellectual talents of each individual student, from preschool through eighth grade.

Our school is certified by the Illinois State Board of Education and the Archdiocese of Chicago Office of Catholic Schools. The teachers at Saint Zachary have attained State of Illinois Certification and all hold bachelor degrees. In fact, the majority of our teachers also hold a master’s degree.

Your children will experience a learning environment at Saint Zachary that emphasizes academics based on a strong curriculum which utilizes traditional learning techniques as well as engaged learning. The faculty provides students many opportunities to work cooperatively in groups and interact academically with faculty and students in other grade levels.

In addition to a challenging curriculum, our students actively participate in liturgical and other devotional practices as a means of developing moral values, ethical standards of conduct, and integrity of character. We also offer interscholastic athletics (basketball, volleyball, softball), before and after school care, computer lab, physical education classes and music.

Our school includes first through eighth grades, full-day kindergarten, full day 4-year old preschool as well as morning or afternoon 3-year-old and 4-year-old preschool.
