ZAX Youth Group

Welcome to the St. Zachary Parish Youth Ministry page! We always encourage new members to join us at any time. The youth ministry is all about living a Christian lifestyle and forming young Catholic leaders. We will have meetings monthly in which we will socialize, have group discussions, pray, do service projects, and play games/sports. Some of the service projects the previous youth ministry participated in included a coat drive, a canned food drive, an Archdiocese Youth Ministry Service Day and Mass, making sandwiches to be delivered to the homeless, helping at the church's Silent Auction, and participating in the Feed My Starving Children program. We plan to participate in these services or similar ones. In addition to serving Christ by serving one another, these service opportunities are a great way to get service credit hours for confirmation, school requirements, and job/school applications. We also have ideas for fun social activities. We always are open to ideas of ways that we can spend time together and with Christ. Please join us for our meetings. Be advised that at least some of the group members often go to the gym for part of the meeting time, so we encourage you to wear gym shoes if you would like to participate!

The Young Adult Ministry - Northwest (Yam-NW) is a regional ministry within the Northwest Suburbs, serving young adults in their 20s and 30s.  Monthly social events, a variety of faith programs, sports activities, and volunteer opportunities bring young adults who are interested in their faith together for fellowship and faith enrichment.  For more information, contact Kathy Leisten or Bryan Fong at
